Our Purpose:
Founded in 2008 Bushido is a gaming community for time-constrained adults intent on progression gaming.

Our roots are as a 25 man World of Warcraft raiding guild with the intent to push progression and achieve as much as the game has to offer on a 6/hour week raiding schedule. This schedule requires us to be a very focused and efficient in our raiding efforts and we expect that from our raiders. We have expanded our community to include Star Wars: The Old Republic.


Our Website:
Our website, the raid strategy discussions in particular, are by far the most valuable asset the guild has. We expect our raiding members to be able to contribute to, or at minimum follow, these discussions regularly and at a high level. The goal is to work out the kinks in the strategies during non-raiding times allowing us to raid more efficiently.

Game and Real Life Balance:
We have lives outside of gaming and this balance with real life is a key to our stability and success. We're stable and suffer from very little turnover or burnout.

Raid Times:
Tuesday and Thursday 7:30pm - 10:30pm PST. (WoW and SWTOR)

Drama:
We have a zero tolerance policy for drama of any kind.

Behavior:
Our raid chatter in Mumble (ventrilo) and /ra is minimal and courtesy and respect go a long way with us.

Attendance:
We run a very tight roster that rarely exceeds much beyond raid team size. This makes attendance very important but means we don't have people sitting out of raids too often.

Talent:
We do not have class officers and feel that the responsibility for knowing our class and pushing the performance of our characters fall on us individually.

Perks:
Along with all the perks of a guild our level, we offer paid repairs and guild cauldrons for our raids and greatly discounted, if not free, raid equipment enchants.

On top of all that, we're a pretty damn nice group of people to be around.


About you (raiders):

- You're 21+ (rare exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis).
- You're cool, mature and in it for the long haul.
- You're dependable and in control of your schedule.
- You know your class exceedingly well and can be counted on to have all necessary consumables and foreknowledge of the current encounters on your own.
- You can contribute to strategy discussions on the forums.
- You play for fun but take raiding and progression seriously.
- You get along with people of all types.


About you (community):

- You're cool, mature and easy to be around.
- You're willing and able to step in to fill in for an absent raider once in a while.
- You go out of your way to help the guild advance.
